The Southern Virginia [SoVa] Regional Chamber of Commerce 11th annual 5K Turkey Trot is on Thursday, November 23 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Colonial Heights High School Technical Center located at 3451 Conduit Road.

"The Turkey Trot offers various race categories to cater to different fitness levels and preferences," Jon Brandt, Executive Director at SoVa Regional Chamber of Commerce, said.

Individuals and groups may opt to participate in a 5K run, a 1-mile fun run or even a family-friendly walk. Enthusiastic volunteers will guide the way along the race route with well-marked paths.

Dressing up in turkey attire is highly encouraged. In 2019, I wore a chicken costume since I just happened to have one hanging in my closet. LOL! The Turkey Trot is an enjoyable experience, so wobble and gobble for a good cause!
