College basketball: 2023-24 All-MAAC teams, awards announced; Two Iona players honored
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its annual all-conference teams and award winners for the 2023-24 season.
Iona had two representatives earn All-MAAC recognition, with Idan Tretout receiving All-MAAC third team honors and Jeremiah Quigley landing on the MAAC All-Rookie team.
Tretout enters the MAAC Tournament as Iona's leading scorer. The Harvard graduate transfer is averaging 13.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting 39.1% on the floor this season.
Quigley also had an impact in his first year at Iona. The freshman point guard is averaging 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, while shooting 40.9% overall.
