What Coach Prime had to say following Colorado’s senior day loss
Colorado’s 2023 home finale, which also marked the final Pac-12 game at Folsom Field, ended in a 34-31 loss for the black and gold. The Buffs led at the start of the fourth quarter before Arizona scored 10 straight points, including a game-winning field goal as time expired.
However, the Buffs fought hard against a team ranked in the AP Top 25 that has recently surged up the conference standings. The game meant a lot, and former Buff Taylor Upshaw ignited some fireworks with an Instagram post earlier in the week.
It was a tough loss, but the way they played against Arizona was promising.
Head coach Deion Sanders had plenty to say after the game:

Coach Prime opens with: “fought hard, played tough, just had a wonderful conversation with the team and seniors. Apologize to the fan base, they’ve been supporting the heck out of us. We’re so close but yet so far is what I told the team. We truly don’t know how to win yet. It’s… pic.twitter.com/W2YBVvbfGs
