Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland and head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will share their expertise with 80 of Africa’s top high school-age prospects in the 19th edition of Basketball Without Borders, taking place this weekend (July 28-31) at the American International School of Johannesburg in South Africa.

Participants — boys and girls — come from 25 African nations to be coached by NBA, WNBA and FIBA players and coaches.

NBA players this year include Garland, the Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, Golden State’s Jonathan Kuminga and Orlando’s Jalen Suggs.

On the coaching front Bickerstaff will be joined by former Cavs coach Mike Brown, former Detroit Pistons coach Dwane Casey, Los Angeles Lakers coach Darvin Ham and Dave Joerger, who most recently coached with the Philadelphia 76ers.
