Clemson undrafted free agents tracker: Tigers who signed after 2024 NFL Draft

CLEMSON — Despite Clemson football having six players picked in the 2024 NFL Draft, four went undrafted.

Cornerback Sheridan Jones, offensive lineman Will Putnam, safety Jalyn Phillips and defensive end Justin Mascoll were not selected in the seven-round draft; none was invited to the NFL scouting combine. They will look to sign undrafted free agent contracts in the coming days for a chance to earn a roster spot with an NFL team.

Here are the former Clemson football players who have signed as undrafted free agents.

Clemson undrafted free agents

Jalyn Phillips, DB, Los Angeles Chargers

Phillips agreed to a free agent deal with the Chargers on Saturday. He recorded 26 tackles (two for loss), one sack and four pass deflections over nine games (eight starts) last season with Clemson. He was never a full-time starter with the Tigers but was a respected leader on the team.

Will Putnam, OL, Las Vegas Raiders

Putnam agreed to a free agent deal with the Raiders on Saturday. He played two seasons at guard and two at center as a four-year starter on Clemson's offensive line. He logged 3,563 snaps, which is the second most in Tigers history, and played in more than 60 games, including 49 starts.
