Clemson softball live score updates vs Southeastern Louisiana in NCAA tournament
Clemson softball enters the 2024 NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed in the Tuscaloosa Regional and will battle No. 3 seed Southeastern Louisiana Friday at Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The Tigers (34-17) have made the tournament for four straight seasons, hosting a regional for the past two years. Despite star player Valerie Cagle missing time this season, Clemson won six of its eight ACC series, tied for fourth in the ACC standings and reached the conference tournament semifinals.
The Lions (45-13) made the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history after winning the Southland Conference championship. They are in the midst of the winningest three-year stretch in program history with their third straight 40-win season. SLU aims to carry that momentum into the regional.

The winner of Friday's Round 1 matchup (ACC Network, 2 p.m. ET) will face the winner of No. 1 seed Alabama and No. 4 seed USC Upstate at 3 p.m. Saturday. The losers of both games will play each other in an elimination game at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
