Clear Fork's Labaki, Blubaugh take Division III OPSWA special mention All-Ohio honors

COLUMBUS — Clear Fork senior Annika Labaki has made it 2-for-2.

After taking All-Ohio honors in soccer, Labaki followed it up with similar honors in basketball earning special mention All-Ohio as presented by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association on Monday afternoon. She was joined by junior teammate Mel Blubaugh on the special mention list. This is also Blubaugh's second sport in which she earned All-Ohio honors in after taking them in softball last year.

Labaki earned first team All-Northwest District, first team All-District 6 and first team All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference after averaging 10.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, three assists and 2.2 steals. She finishes her career with 185 made 3-pointers in four years, which is a program record, while also smashing records for threes in a season with 77 and in a game with seven.

Blubaugh put together a solid season earning second team All-Northwest District, second team All-District 6 and second team All-MOAC along with her All-Ohio honor after averaging 9.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals.
