PHILADELPHIA – The start of the Cincinnati Reds' game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park will be delayed because of rain, the Phillies announced about 45 minutes before the scheduled 4:05 p.m. start.

The Phillies announced they plan to start the game at approximately 8 p.m.

The game originally was scheduled for 1:05 p.m. until the decision was made Tuesday night to push it back three hours because of the adverse weather forecast.

The Reds and Phillies split the first two games of the three-game series, playing both nights in wet, cold and windy conditions.

The Reds won 6-3 Monday night on a 10th-inning grand slam by Spencer Steer. Bryce Harper hit three home runs, including a seventh-inning grand slam, Tuesday as the Phillies beat the Reds 9-4.
