Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder shows off impressive speed at NFL Combine

There’s no clear-cut leader among the top quarterbacks in the 2022 NFL draft class, but Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder is determined to state his case with an impressive showing at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.

One of Ridder’s most impressive numbers Thursday night. An unofficial 4.49 in the 40-yard dash, the fastest of any player at the position.

While the 40-yard dash isn’t the most important drill for a quarterback prospect, it’s still notable that Ridder can pair that kind of speed with the rest of his tools as a passer.
