CIF State Playoffs: See which SJ County basketball and soccer teams are competing in state

The job is not done yet for these nine San Joaquin County prep basketball and soccer teams. They will represent the 209 in the CIF State tournament in their respective sports, which will kick off on Feb. 27.

On the pitch, only one SJ County team qualified for the CIF NorCal Girls Soccer Championships in Ripon Christian girls. The Knights are also the only area team to capture a soccer Sac-Joaquin Section blue banner this season.

For basketball, the 209 had even more blue banners to hang up with three teams winning SJS championships in St. Mary’s girls, Venture Academy boys, and Ripon Christian boys. These section champions and other local hungry teams now have their eyes set on the biggest prize — a state title.

The Record has you covered for all the upcoming playoff matchups. Check back here for live score updates from these elite matchups throughout round one, round two, regional semifinals, and finals.
