Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes surprises Whitehouse High School football team
Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes made a visit to Whitehouse High School this weekend, where he was once a dual-sport star.
The Whitehouse Independent School District posted a photo on Facebook on Saturday detailing Mahomes’ surprise visit. Their football team spent the morning volunteering and picking up trash in the Whitehouse, Texas community. In the afternoon they thought they were gathering for a new uniform unveiling, but they were instead surprised by the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
What a surprise! After spending the morning participating in the #trashoff and cleaning up the city of Whitehouse, the football team was sent up to The Den for what they thought a uniform unveiling.

Mahomes recorded 4,619 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, 948 rushing yards, and 15 rushing touchdowns as Whitehouse’s quarterback during his senior year of high school. It paved the way for him to go on to play quarterback in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech for three seasons.
