Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will appear on Eli and Peyton Manning’s ‘MNF’ Manningcast

When the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills kick off tonight’s ‘Monday Night Football’ game, the reigning league MVP will help provide his commentary during the broadcast. The famous alternate broadcast featuring Eli and Peyton Manning on ESPN2, better known as the Manningcast, will feature Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the night’s first guest.

Mahomes and former World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn were added to the guest list at the last minute following actor and Broncos fan Don Cheadle’s postponement. The announcement was made via the Manning brothers’ Omaha Productions social media account featuring Peyton in a short video on the phone speaking with supposedly Mahomes to be a guest. The audio was from Mahomes’ infamous “I’m Here” statement he yelled during last season’s Monday Night Football matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Mahomes joins his teammate Travis Kelce as the only Chiefs to appear on the alternate broadcast. There is a safe assumption that Mahomes will speak more about his collaboration with Peyton last season for Netflix’s hit show “Quarterback.”
