It is time to unveil the pairings for the round of 16 playoffs in Iowa high school football.
Class 5A's pairings were decided solely by the RPI, with the top 16 teams in the metric earning a bid. In 4A and 3A, district winners and runners-up earned the first 12 bids into the playoffs, while the remaining four spots were determined by the RPI.
After the first round of the 2A, 1A, A and 8-Player matchups, the field has been cut from 32 to 16 in each class.
