Check out some of the Hurricane Harvey decals teams will wear in Week 1
As millions of people along the Gulf Coast still deal with the massive flooding from Hurricane Harvey, many college football teams will be wearing helmet decals honoring those who have felt the storm’s brutality.
Florida will wear a decal in its game vs. Michigan in Dallas on Saturday. The Gators’ 2016 game vs. LSU was postponed because of Hurricane Matthew.

A&M, located north of Houston in College Station, is also offering free tickets to anyone affected by the hurricane to its games on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16. Baylor announced earlier in the week that anyone affected by the hurricane could ask for tickets to the Bears’ season-opener Saturday vs. Liberty.
If you want to make a tangible impact instead of just sending good vibes towards those who have been dealing with the hurricane’s flooding, the University of Houston football team has been suggesting donations to the Greater Houston Community Foundation. If you haven’t had a chance to help, we strongly suggest that you do if you are able. The devastation felt from the hurricane will last for years.
Houston’s Week 1 game vs. Texas-San Antonio has been postponed and the team has been organizing supply collection drives from other Texas schools for members of the Houston metro area.
