District girls and boys basketball results, schedule for Sarasota/Manatee county schools
The girls and boys high school basketball district tournaments will run from Feb. 5 to 10, alternating each day.
The girls will play Monday, Wednesday and conclude with the district championship games Friday. The boys will run Tuesday, Thursday with their championships games Saturday.
The district champions receive an automatic berth into the regional tournament. Four at-large teams also will receive bids to the regionals, based on the new Florida High School Athletic Association rankings.

The girls regional quarterfinals begin Wednesday, Feb. 14 with the boys starting Thursday, Feb. 15.
