Charlie Condon makes highlight catch, UGA baseball moves to 3-0

The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team is off to a 3-0 start to the 2024 season. Georgia swept UNC Asheville in a three game series to open the season.

Georgia’s 10-0 win over UNC Asheville on Feb. 18 featured one of the most impressive plays over the weekend. Star Georgia Bulldogs outfielder Charlie Condon showed off his fielding range when he may an acrobatic catch over the wall on a foul ball.

Georgia pitchers Leighton Finley and Josh Roberge gave up just two total hits and had a combined eight strike outs as Georgia dominated UNC Asheville. Georgia outscored UNC Asheville 38-7 over three games.

Georgia baseball’s next game is on Feb. 20 against Georgia State in Atlanta, Georgia. The Bulldogs continue exclusive playing nonconference games through March 15.
