What channel is the UCF football game on? TV, streaming info vs. Kent State

An exciting season of change is about to begin for UCF football.

It's the Knights' first year in the Big 12 (this season will be with Texas and Oklahoma; next year will see Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah join the party). Before they can face their new conference opponents, they'll welcome the Kent State Golden Flashes to the Bounce House to kick off the 2023 season.

Coach Gus Malzahn is looking to build off a strong 2022 season in which UCF went 9-5 and made the AAC Championship Game. The season ended in some disappointment with blowout losses to Tulane in the conference title game and to Duke in the Military Bowl. But the Knights return a potent offense led by quarterback John Rhys Plumlee and running back RJ Harvey and former Florida Gator Demarckus Bowman.

Kent State will represent the MAC in Thursday night's opener. The Golden Flashes were 5-7 last season. New coach Kenni Burns will feature an entirely new starting offense, including quarterback Michael Alaimo, who transferred from Purdue.
