Stanford women's basketball journey in the 2024 NCAA Tournament continues as its second-round matchup is set against Iowa State.

The Cardinals (29-5) are fresh off of a dominating victory over its first-round opponent, Norfolk State, beating the Spartans 79-50. It was a team effort for them as four players ended the game scoring in double digits with guard Elena Bosgana leading the charge with 18 points. Forward duo Cameron Brink and Kiki Iriafen contributed 17 points apiece and guard Hannah Jump added 13.

They look to have another all-hands-on-deck performance against the Cyclones (21-11) who entered the tournament as the No. 7 seed in the Portland 4 region. Iowa State took down Maryland in its first-round matchup, beating the Terrapins 93-86. Leading the Cyclones was center Audi Crooks who went off scoring 40 points to secure her team's victory.
