What channel is Louisville vs. DePaul on today? Time, TV, radio schedule for U of L

CHICAGO — If there was ever a time for Louisville men's basketball to end what has spiraled into a 20-game road losing streak, it's now.

Kenny Payne's Cardinals (4-4, 0-1 ACC) are visiting the Windy City today to resume a long-running, and historically one-sided, series against DePaul (1-7) that dates back to 1957.

This installment is a battle of two of the three worst high-major teams on the NCAA's NET rankings.

U of L, which as of Friday afternoon was No. 277 on the NET, has won 23 of the past 26 games against the Blue Demons (269th) dating back to 1996. It has not won away from the KFC Yum! Center, however, since a Jan. 2, 2022, victory at Georgia Tech.

DePaul entered the weekend in dead last among high-major teams on KenPom.com's adjusted efficiency rankings (-3.26, 212th). It's looking to win two in a row over the Cards after notching a 62-55 victory on Dec. 10, 2021, in Louisville.

Third-year coach Tony Stubblefield's team has lost its three games vs. high-major opponents thus far by a combined score of 261-212. Its lone win came against South Dakota, 72-60, on Nov. 14.

"They are struggling to win games," Payne said of the Blue Demons. "But, when you look at their stats and you watch them play, they are very competitive."

Added freshman Curtis Williams, "Don't take (any) team lightly."
