What channel is Detroit Lions vs. Baltimore Ravens? Time, TV schedule

Lions linebacker Charles Harris sacks Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson during the second half of the Lions' 19-17 loss at Ford Field on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

The Detroit Lions face perhaps their toughest assignment since Week 1, when they visit the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday in Maryland.

The Lions are underdogs despite owning the best record in the NFL at 5-1, tied with four other teams. The Ravens meanwhile are 4-2 and in first place in the AFC North. This is the second straight division-leading opponent the Lions have faced, both on the road. They dispatched Tampa Bay last week, 20-6. Baltimore held off Tennessee, 24-16, in London.

The Ravens are led by 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, who has completed 69.9% of his passes, up from 62.3% last season, under new coordinator Todd Monken. Jackson, 26, averages 208.8 yards passing per game, an improvement of 22 yards over last year. He has five touchdown passes to three interceptions, and has four rushing touchdowns while running for 54.5 yards per game. His top targets are tight end Mark Andrews and rookie wideout Zay Flowers.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff, 29, has continued to build off his stellar 2022 second half of the season. He has 11 touchdowns to three interceptions, completing 69.5% of his passes with 269.7 yards per game. His 73.4 QBR ranks fourth in the NFL, is a career high and up 10 points from last season. He'll be hoping for support from rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who returns after missing two games with a hamstring injury suffered in practice.
