After enjoying its mini bye week, Ball State football hits the road for a Wednesday night matchup at Bowling Green.
It's the first of BSU's two midweek MACtion contests, an annual tradition for the Mid-American Conference. Oddly, though, this meeting will be the first time between these two programs since 2015, before head coach Mike Neu took over the program.
The Cardinals (2-6, 1-3 MAC) need a victory to remain bowl eligible and are coming off their best performance of the season, a 24-17 homecoming win over Central Michigan.
The Falcons (4-4, 2-2 MAC), meanwhile, have won two in a row and are 2-1 at home.
As of Tuesday afternoon, BSU is a 5.5-point underdog.
