Central Minnesota high school football scores for Week 8

SAINT CLOUD — This is how it ends.

We've reached the last high school football games of the 2023 regular season with several St. Cloud-area teams looking to score one more tally in the win column.

Coming off a disappointing 18-6 loss at Eden Valley-Watkins (7-0), Kimball (5-2) is hoping to get back on the right track against a St. Cloud Cathedral (3-4) team that has won three games in a row without allowing an opposing point. The game is at St. John's University.

Holdingford (5-2) is playing that tough EVW Eagle squad and hoping to pick up a huge win for playoff seeding.

Coming off its fourth defensive shutout of the season versus Holy Angels (3-4), ROCORI is playing one of the best teams in Class 4A: Orono (7-0).

Albany (5-2) is traveling to play a Montevideo Thunder Hawk team that has gone 5-2 after a few down years.

Class 3A Foley (4-3) has a challenge on its hands hosting Becker, which is 7-0 in Class 4A.

St. Cloud Apollo (1-6) is hosting Zimmerman (2-5).

Tech (1-6) plays on the road against New Prague (5-2). The Tigers picked up their first win last week against Sartell (0-7), which this week is hoping for it's own first win at home against Park Center (2-5).

Rounding out Class 5A is Sauk Rapids-Rice (6-1), which is hosing Moorhead (4-3) after the Storm lost their first game of the year last week versus Andover (6-1).
