CB Rock Ya-Sin credits former Ravens CB for getting sense of what Baltimore is like

The Baltimore Ravens signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin to a one-year deal following the 2023 NFL Draft. The deal is worth up to around $6 million, which would be well worth it for both Ya-Sin as well as the team.

Ya-Sin spoke to the Baltimore media following the team’s final mandatory minicamp practice, and had plenty of interesting things to say. He gave credit to former Ravens cornerback Anthony Averett, saying that they talked about the culture, locker room and more.

“I was actually in Vegas last year with Anthony Averett. So, we were talking about the culture here – the guys, the locker room – all the time. You know how it is when you’re teammates with a guy, and you’re playing on the side of the field, talking about the places you’ve been. So, I had a good idea of what Baltimore was like.”
