Mackinaw City's Trystan Swanson voted Tribune's Boys Basketball Player of the Year
MACKINAW CITY – Mackinaw City senior Trystan Swanson has been voted the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Boys Basketball Player of the Year after earning 35.63 percent of the vote during a poll this week.
Swanson, star for the Comets this past season, beat out Onaway senior Austin Veal, who picked up 21.75 percent of the vote. Voting began on Tuesday and closed on Friday morning. Nearly 3,000 votes were cast during the poll.

The Cheboygan Daily Tribune 2023-24 all-area boys basketball team will be revealed next week.
