1. No. 1 Carl Albert (8-0, 4-0 District 5A-2) at No. 2 Guthrie (7-0, 3-0), Thursday: Guthrie’s defense has been remarkable this season, posting six shutouts and allowing just three points. But the Bluejays will face their biggest test thus far when they go against Carl Albert’s offense, which is led by junior quarterback and OU commit Kevin Sperry and senior running back and Sooners commit Xavier Robinson.

2. No. 2 Tulsa Union (6-1, 4-0 District 6A-I-2) at No. 4 Edmond Santa Fe (5-1, 4-0), Thursday: Edmond Santa Fe junior Demarius Robinson is among the most productive running backs in the state, putting up big numbers on a weekly basis. The Wolves have bounced back from a 1-9 season, but they’ll see if they can hang with Tulsa Union, which has won four straight games since losing to Jenks 31-24 on Sept. 8.

3. No. 3 Marlow (7-0, 4-0 District 3A-2) at No. 6 Sulphur (5-2, 4-0): Heritage Hall is the unquestioned leader of District 3A-2, but Marlow and Sulphur are having solid seasons. This matchup will have a big impact on how things end up near the top of the standings in that district.

4. No. 6 Claremore (7-0, 4-0 District 5A-4) at No. 5 Tulsa Bishop Kelley (5-2, 4-0): Both programs went 5-6 last season but have improved and are among the best in Class 5A. They had a great game last year, with Tulsa Bishop Kelley winning 36-33.

5. No. 3 Jones (5-2, 4-0 District 2A-2) at No. 6 Chandler (6-1, 3-0): This matchup will feature two great senior quarterbacks as Jones’ Clayton Creasey and Chandler’s Alec Jackson face off. Creasey is committed to the University of Central Oklahoma, while Jackson holds an offer from Drake.

6. No. 8 Oklahoma Christian School (7-0, 4-0 District 2A-1) at No. 2 Millwood (6-1, 4-0): The top teams in District 2A-1 will meet at L.W. Good Stadium with district title implications on the line. Millwood is the defending state runner-up and dominated OCS last year, winning 40-13.

7. No. 2 Tulsa Lincoln Christian (7-0, 3-0 District 3A-3) at No. 9 Stigler (6-1, 1-1): Tulsa Lincoln Christian is dominating as it has routinely done in recent years, but Stigler poses a challenge for the Bulldogs. Stigler’s only loss this season was a 24-22 defeat against Seminole.

8. No. 7 Norman North (5-2, 2-2 District 6A-I-1) at No. 9 Moore (4-3, 1-3), Thursday: Both teams have struggled with consistency during district play, but a victory this week could get things going in the right direction.

9. Beggs (4-3, 2-2 District 2A-7) at No. 5 Kiefer (7-0, 4-0): Kiefer has been outstanding this year and is coming off a 22-14 win over No. 10 Kansas. But watch out for Beggs. The Golden Demons have some talented players, including senior Kansas running back commit Red Martel.

10. No. 1 Bixby (7-0, 4-0 District 6A-I-1) at No. 5 Westmoore (5-2, 4-0): Westmoore is having a breakout year, and senior quarterback and defensive back MJ Graham — a Southeast transfer and Houston commit — is a big reason why. But defending champion Bixby has been its usual self this season and remains the team to beat in Class 6A-I. The Spartans are averaging 62 points per game while allowing just 8.1 per matchup.

*All games Friday unless noted.
