Cardinals, all NFL teams to play international games at least every 8 years

The Arizona Cardinals were scheduled to play a game in Mexico in 2020. It was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of concerns still with the pandemic, it was not rescheduled for 2021, although the league will have two games in London this season.

Their international game was part of the requirement for Glendale getting to host a Super Bowl, but now the league has a plan for all teams to play internationally in a rotation.

The league announced that every NFL team will have an international game every eight years and that those games would be expanded. In recent years, the league has played in England and Mexico. They will add Canada, South America and other cities in Europe.

Expect the Cardinals to play their game in Mexico in 2022 and then again somewhere outside the United States in 2030.
