Capital University is hosting the 2024 NCAA D3 Women's Basketball Championships

The NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships are coming to Columbus.

The event will be held at Capital University March 14-16.

Capital will be the host for the second time. Capital last hosted in 1995 when the school's women's basketball team won the championship. Capital was also scheduled to host the championships in 2020 that were canceled due to COVID-19.

When is the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships?

The games will be held March 14-16.

Where is the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships?

At The Capital Center (2360 E. Mound St.).

NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships schedule

Semifinals will be March 14th at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The championship will be at 7 p.m. March 16th, with a Women's Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game at 4 p.m.

Here's a look at the schedule:

  • Smith vs. Wartburg: 5 p.m., March 14

  • NYU vs. Transylvania: 7:30 p.m., March 14

Transylvania brings Columbus tie to NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships

Transylvania coach Juli Fulks is returning to Columbus for another Final Four run.

Fulks was a member of the 1997 Capital University Final Four team. Fulks has led Transylvania to a perfect 31-0 record in 2023-24, and to 64 straight wins: the longest active win streak in the NCAA, and the third most all time in Division III.

How to buy tickets for NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships

The NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championships will three different ticket packages available: all-session, semifinals and finals. Tickets can be purchased here.

All-session

  • Adult: $35

  • Student/Senior/Youth: $20

Semifinal

  • General admission (Adult): $20

  • General admission (Student/Senior/Youth): $15

  • Family Pack (Two Adult tickets/Two Youth tickets): $60

Championship

  • General admission (Adult): $20

  • General admission (Student/Senior/Youth): $15
