Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo full results: Alvarez stays undisputed

It was all Canelo Alvarez on Saturday.

The undisputed super middleweight champion welcomed undisputed super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo to the ring at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and put on a clinic for 12 rounds. Alvarez dominated Charlo for most of the fight and retained all of his belts by unanimous decision.

In the co-main event, Jesus Ramos Jr. was a more than 4-1 favorite versus Erickson Lubin, but the super welterweight battle ended controversially as Lubin upset Ramos by unanimous decision despite landing only 92 punches to Ramos' 145. The judges scored it 115-113, 116-112 and 117-111 for Lubin, but several ringside observers, including Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole, scored the fight in favor of Ramos.

Mario Barrios went in as an underdog and came out on top versus Yordenis Ugas to win the WBC interim welterweight title by unanimous decision. Barrios dropped Ugas multiple times including once in the second round that set the stage for what was to come. Ugas lost his second bout in a row even after a pronounced layoff after his last fight, a tenth-round TKO loss to Errol Spence Jr., and moves to 27-6 overall. Barrios improves to 28-2 and is now the mandatory for 147-pound king Terence Crawford, though Crawford has indicated he intends to move up in weight.

In the pay-per-view opener, Elijah Garcia and Armando Reséndiz proved that the middleweight division is in good hands as the two engaged in an entertaining slugfest to kick things off. Garcia dropped Reséndiz with a vicious body shot in the eighth round which Reséndiz recovered from. But it was too late as Garcia then swarmed him and the ref called it off after multiple blows landed on a clearly shook Reséndiz.
