You make the call: Who is the lohud Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week?
We're keeping score and taking down names.
Our readers will again be able to make a statement each week. We'll be taking a quick look back and highlight some of the previous week's top performances each Monday. The readers will then decide who had the biggest impact by voting for the lohud Player of the Week.
The previous winners are Fin McConnell (Kennedy Catholic), Tyler Tan (White Plains), David Hundzynski (Pleasantville), Christian Biondi (White Plains), Andrew Nessel (Pleasantville) and Chad Bowen (Yorktown).
The poll closes at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Here are the Week 7 finalists:
Chris Constantine, Yorktown
The senior defender has been making timely plays at both end of the field all season. He picked up one goal, one assist and two ground balls in a win over Briarcliff, one goal, one assist and seven ground balls in a win over Mahopac and three ground balls in a win over Lakeland/Panas.
Brendan Corelli, John Jay
The junior midfielder sparked an 11-10 win over Somers with three goals and one assist. He added one goal and two assists in a victory against Carmel.
Stephen DiNapoli, Westlake
The senior midfielder is leading the charge for the undefeated Wildcats. He got four goals and one assist against North Salem, three goals and one assist against Haldane and six goals and two assists against Rye Neck.
Justin Fink, Sleepy Hollow
The senior attackman netted 13 goals last week in league wins over Pawling, Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry to reach 100 for his career. He also set up three goals.
Connor Lummel, Greeley
The senior midfielder propelled the Quakers to a trio of quality wins, scoring a pair of goals against Byram Hills, four against Mamaroneck and three against North Rockland.
Matt Mayfield, Somers
The junior FOGO kept a dangerous Tuskers offense well fed. He went 17 for 25 on draws in a loss to John Jay and 24 for 28 in a win over Rye. Mayfield also handed out three assists last week.
Tim Plunkett, Iona Prep
The sophomore attackman continued his torrid scoring pace with six goals and two assists in a 16-12 win over Cheshire, Conn. and four goals and three assists in a 12-4 win over Shenendehowa.
Carter Schmidt, Croton
The senior attackman finished with five goals and three assists in a win over New Rochelle, one goal in a loss to Pleasantville and five goals and four assists in a win over Dobbs Ferry.
Andrew Tenthoff, Hastings
The junior midfielder delivered two goals and two assists against Albertus Magnus, five goals and two assists against Eastchester and five goals and one assist against Irvington.
