Our Call: Erie Times-News game predictions for Week 5 of the District 10 football season

The Our Call had another solid week with just three losses in 20 games. Union City won a thriller, while Grove City knocked off Sharon with a walk-off field goal and Butler struggled against Hollidaysburg.

There are some big games this week including two region-changing games in Erie County on Thursday. This week has several tough games to predict, but below is what the Our Call has to say about Week 5 of the season.

General McLane 28, Corry 7: The Lancers defend their homefield.

Cochranton 28, Mercer 26: The Cardinals edge the Mustangs in an instant classic.

Sharpsville 42, Greenville 21: The Blue Devils keep rolling.

Grove City 35, Slippery Rock 14: The Eagles dominate a rivalry game.

Farrell 32, Hickory 21: The Steelers remain in control of Region 3

Sharon 24, Wilmington 7: The Tigers bounce back with a quality win.

Meadville 35, Conneaut 16: The Bulldogs run to a rivalry win.

Girard 28, Harbor Creek 27: The 'Jackets get a solid region win.

Butler 28, Erie 27: The Golden Tornado clinch a spot in the D-10 6A championship game.

Cathedral Prep 35, Clarkson (Canada) 28: The Ramblers hang on before a big game next week.

Mercyhurst Prep 49, Franklin 14: The Lakers move to 5-0 on the season.

Oil City 42, Northwestern 6: The Oilers get another win before a big game next Saturday.

Titusville 28, Seneca 16: The Rockets have improved this season.

Fairview 27, Warren 7: The Tigers bounce back from a tough overtime loss.

Lakeview 28, Eisenhower 7: The Sailors win at the Pasture of Pain.

Cambridge Spring 42, Iroquois 6: The Blue Devils dominate on the road.

Saegertown 16, Union City 14: The Panthers win a thriller.

McDowell 35, Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Ohio) 32: Trojans win a wild one on the road.
