Cal’s upset of No. 8 Washington State became a lot more real when quarterback Ross Bowers went flipping into the end zone.

Bowers scored on a third and goal early in the fourth quarter to give the Bears a 27-3 lead. We’re not going to even try to describe the way he catapulted into the end zone. Just watch it for yourself.

The touchdown was the first rushing score of Bowers’ college career and likely set Cal up with an insurmountable lead. The Bears defense forced five turnovers through the first three quarters and sacked Washington State quarterback Luke Falk eight times.

And while the TD might have been his first collegiate rushing TD, it was not the first time he’s gone flying into an end zone. Bowers did this while he was in high school.
