Things are different this time around. The Colts don’t have the playbook on old friend Peyton Manning. But after embarrassing the Broncos in the last two matchups by winning in dominant fashion, the Colts aren’t going to have an easy time winning Sunday, if Week 1 was an indication of anything.

You see, C.J. Anderson posted 92 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and 47 receiving yards with one receiving touchdown. That was against the Carolina Panthers who only have one of the NFL’s best defenses.

The Colts allowed 116 rushing yards to the Detroit Lions in their 39-35 loss on Sunday. The Lions were the NFL’s worst rushing team last year on the offensive side of the ball. Given how crafty Anderson is, one would assume that he’s bound for a big day against the Colts and their awful defense.

Trevor Siemian will also get a chance to slow down a secondary that’s beat up and is badly needing shutdown corner Vontae Davis to return. But the easy way to win football games is to run the football, as long as it works. As great as Denver’s defense is, keeping Andrew Luck on the sidelines will make their work a little more easier.

So if you’re doing daily fantasy, pick Anderson. He’s ready for a true breakout year and gets to face a defense that running backs traditionally LOVE to feast on.
