Burnley host West Ham at Turf Moor knowing a win would take them off the bottom of the Premier League table and reignite their domestic campaign.

Vincent Kompany’s men have only won once in the league this season, beating Luton 2-1 at the start of October. They have lost their last six fixtures across all competitions and desperately need a change in fortunes.

West Ham, meanwhile, are ninth in the table and have hopes of earning a place in Europe next season. Games like these, against lower half teams, are must wins if David Moyes’ men hope to finish inside the top seven. Can they defeat the Clarets today?

It was all about Kudus in the second half who produced two excellent crosses which ended up in the back of the net, courtesy of an O'Shea own goal to cancel out Rodriguez's opener and a brilliant volley from Soucek to complete the comeback. You can't help but feel sorry for Burnley, who looked to have done enough for their first points at home this season, but it wasn't to be. He’s making a return to his former club and would surely love to score, so it’s up to Moyes to get him more involved. As for Burnley, more of the same is needed from Kompany's side. They could be more clinical, but with the way they're playing, they're bound to get another chance. A big second half for both teams coming up!

It's goalless at the break between Burnley and West Ham. As Burnley try to end their barren run of six consecutive defeats, Kompany's side have looked the better side. They had a great chance to open the scoring when Koleosho thumped an effort straight at Areola but the big talking point was the possible penalty for Burnley. Koleosho, who caused a lot of problems for Coufal in the first half, skipped past the right-back before his legs were clipped which sent him to the floor. VAR had a quick check but deemed no pitchside review was necessary. It was harsh because they’ve certainly been given, but nonetheless, Kompany will be pleased with that first 45 minutes.
