Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 7 game

The Buffalo Bills (4-2) escaped a Week 6 scare and head into Week 7 taking on the lowly New England Patriots (1-5) in an AFC East matchup at Gillette Stadium.

Last week, Josh Allen and company didn't score until the fourth quarter when he threw both of his touchdowns in a 14-9 win over the New York Giants. New York's backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor had a few mishaps that cost the Giants some points. But the Bills defense also stood their ground and prevented a final touchdown to Darren Waller even if they had a pass interference gaffe of their own.

The Patriots are on a three-game losing streak after falling to the Las Vegas Raiders 21-17. Quarterback Mac Jones went 24-of-33 for 200 yards and an interception. He was sacked three times, including one in the end zone for a Raiders safety on New England's last possession of the game.

Buffalo has won the last three regular season matchups and beat the Patriots in a wild card game of the 2021 postseason.

Lorenzo Reyes: Bills 31, Patriots 10

The Bills struggled against the Giants but New England’s offense is entirely out of sorts and it looks like a team in line for a Top-5 pick. The Patriots are 1-5 against the spread this season and Buffalo will look to bounce back from a pair of shaky performances over its last two.

Tyler Dragon: Bills 27, Patriots 16

The 1-5 Patriots are a mess right now, especially on offense. New England has only reached 20 points once this season. They have the second worst scoring offense in the NFL. The Bills have won four straight (including playoffs) over New England. Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and the Bills should win easy.

Victoria Hernandez: Bills 25, Patriots 13

The Bills defense is holding them down this year and saved the day last week. Mac Jones hasn’t thrown a touchdown in three games and doesn’t pose much of a threat to the AFC East foe, who has won the last three games in the matchup.

Jordan Mendoza: Bills 24, Patriots 10

On paper, this should be a complete mismatch. But after Buffalo barely beat the Giants, it’s reasonable to question what team is going to show up every week. The Bills offense doesn’t have a big game, but the Patriots offensive woes hurt them too much to make this a close game.

Safid Deen: Bills 26, Patriots 16

The Bills squeaked by the Giants last week and will be in a tough one against the Patriots because they always play chippy games against New England. Still, the Patriots have nothing going for them offensively. Buffalo should win easily.
