Bucs reveal uniform combo for Week 16 vs. Jaguars

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a three-game win streak and feeling festive, and as a result, they’re giving fans a gift they’ve been asking for all year on Christmas Eve.

The team announced on social media that it is set to wear red over pewter for the very first time in 2023 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Dec. 24 at Raymond James Stadium. This will mark the second time the team has worn red this year, the previous outing coming in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles in a 25-11 loss.

The Bucs have been very stringent about wearing White this year, wearing it 13 of the team’s 14 previous games. The team has favored the color in the beginning of the year due to the Florida heat, but it has also adapted it more often recently due to its usage when the team wore it for the last three games of its 2020 Super Bowl run with quarterback Tom Brady. Fans have been vocal about wanting the team to wear more red, and the day before Christmas, those fans are getting their wish.

The team wore white pants when they played the Eagles, but will wear red over pewter for the first time this year and for the first time since Week 13 in 2022 in a win over the New Orleans Saints.
