Buckeye Trail cleans up with release of All-IVC football awards

Buckeye Trail was well represented for a solid season on the gridiron on the recently released Inter-Valley Conference postseason football awards.

The Warriors finished runner-up in the North Division with a 4-1 IVC record, with Malvern claiming the league title with a perfect 5-0 mark.

Tabbed with First Team selections from the Warriors were senior four year lettermen Koen Eagon, Charlie Parry, and Brady Hastings along with junior Jackson Hess.

Eagon closed out his Trail career with a big season, racking up 1,147 yards rushing on 105 carries for a whopping 10.9 yards per carry average with eight TDs. Eagon added 18 receptions for another 228 yards with a pair of touchdowns.

Eagon added two kickoff returns for scores, and finished with 78 points for the season. Defensively, Eagon racked up 34 tackles, with one fumble recovery, and collected three interceptions.

Parry led the Warriors' defense from his linebacker slot with a team high 126 tackles, including three tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and a pair on INTs. Parry contributed on offense with 537 yards on the ground in 84 attempts with five rushing TDs.

Senior Braden Williams, junior Wyatt Connor and sophomore Gavin Morris were each tabbed with Second Team honors. Junior Cole Porter was named to the Honorable Mention team.
