The Browns' road game Jan. 3 against the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers will receive the ultra-popular "ManningCast" treatment on "Monday Night Football."

Legendary quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning committed to analyzing 10 MNF games for ESPN, and Browns at Steelers will be their ninth one. The 10th "ManningCast" will be in the wild-card round of the playoffs, an ESPN spokesperson said.

At the conclusion of the New England Patriots' 14-10 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, Peyton Manning said the next "ManningCast" would be the rematch between the Browns (6-6) and Steelers (6-5-1), and the spokesperson confirmed the broadcast schedule.

The Browns lost 15-10 to the Steelers on Oct. 31 at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The guests for the broadcast were released on Jan. 1. They are, in order, former Steelers head coach and Browns assistant Bill Cowher, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, entertainer Snoop Dogg and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Week 17 showdown featuring the two teams could be Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's final game at Heinz Field. Roethlisberger has told former teammates and some within the Steelers organization he expects this season to be his last playing for Pittsburgh, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday. Roethlisberger's starting record against the Browns is 24-3-1.

Of course, the matchup would have even more juice if the participants are still fighting for their playoff lives in the penultimate regular-season game for each team.

Peyton Manning is a friend of Browns owner Jimmy Haslam. Their families are close partly because of their strong allegiances to the University of Tennessee, and Peyton Manning had long been considered a potential candidate to one day run the Browns.

Peyton Manning has never taken control of the Browns, but he will be talking about them plenty on national TV next month.
