Brother Act: Jaguars' Travis Etienne, Gators' Trevor Etienne make a Chipotle commercial

Yes, Travis Etienne and his brother Trevor will get free Chipotle.

But only for a year, under the terms of the contract they signed with the fast-food chain.

“Not the rest of my life … I wish,” Etienne said on Wednesday following the Jaguars’ practice at the Miller Electric Center. It was a one-year deal, so we get free Chipotle for the season. Hopefully, they come back and hit me up again because I want more Chipotle.”

'So impactful': Travis Etienne is giving the Jaguars plenty to smile about

It’s the first national partnership for the Etienne brothers and will include a TV commercial and a digital presence.

The commercial was filmed two weeks ago at the Jaguars’ Flex Field and took around five hours. The theme of the commercial was Travis Etienne pushing his brother through a variety of drills, barking orders and tips to him such as “Rotate your hips! Lower your center! Hustle! Plant and explode!”

Trevor Etienne responded several times: “Bro!?"

At one point, Travis Etienne even coaches his brother on how to re-tie his shoes.

“Double-knot,” he tells him.

To which Trevor responded with exasperation, “Bro …"

The commercial ends with the two ordering at Chipotle.

“You buying?” Travis asks his brother.

The two brothers said the commercial was simply an extension of their frequent workouts together growing up in Jennings, La., and into their college careers.

“Growing up, we always pushed each other to run faster, train harder, and part of that was ensuring we were eating the right foods to win,” said Trevor Etienne in a statement.

Travis Etienne said he was grateful for the opportunity to film the commercial because it was the first time the two had seen each other since both training camps started.

“It was exciting because I hadn’t seen my brother in a long time and to be in that space with him was fun,” Travis said. “We’ve come so far, being in the house together just playing clowning around, and now we’re making a commercial.”

Travis Etienne said he and his brother would welcome other opportunities – especially if Trevor Etienne makes it to the NFL.

“Any company that wants to hit me and my brother up, we’re willing,” he said.

Travis Etienne also didn’t begrudge his brother being able to take advantage of such opportunities under the NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) freedoms in college sports which weren’t available when he was at Clemson from 2017-2020.

“For him to be able to make money off his name, image and likeness is a great thing,” he said. “I wish I had had that but I just live vicariously through him.”
