Brooks Wright signs with Tennessee

Brooks Wright committed to Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello in 2020 during the eighth grade.

Wright signed his national letter of intent with Tennessee on Wednesday.

The 2024 prospect is from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. He played catcher, first base and pitcher at Bearden.

As a junior in 2023, Wright recoded a .415 batting average and totaled six home runs, 26 RBIs, 10 doubles and 34 walks.

He also surrendered just 12 stolen bases in 155 innings caught last season.

Wright enters his senior season at Bearden in 2024. He started for three seasons and was the District 4-4A Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.
