Brooklyn Nets give positive update on Ben Simmons’ knee

The Brooklyn Nets announced on Friday prior to their 128-86 win over the Washington Wizards that the MRI for guard Ben Simmons‘ left knee came back clean.

Simmons last played on October 29th against the Indiana Pacers and has been dealing with some swelling in his left knee that required it to be drained. According to ESPN’s Nick Friedell, Brooklyn interim HC Jacque Vaughn said on Friday that Simmons has a chance to play Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks if his knee feels better.

Simmons is not with the team in Charlotte for Saturday’s game.
