Brevard QB Benjamin Kessinger's 4 TD passes highlight WNC's Week 11 high school football top performers

Here are Western North Carolina's top performers for Week 11 of the high school football season.

Da'Merio Rice, Asheville Christian Academy: Rice caught nine passes for 104 yards and a touchdown in a 47-27 win vs. SouthLake Christian Academy.

Javier Rice, ACA: Rice completed 42 of 49 passes for 446 yards with six touchdowns and rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

Jeremiah Jones, Asheville High: Jones caught three passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns in a 46-9 win vs. Enka.

Josh Ellis, Asheville High: Ellis returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown and rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on two carries.

Nic Williams, Asheville High: Williams ran for 71 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.

Caleb Jenkins, Asheville School: Jenkins rushed 23 times for 141 yards with four touchdowns in a 55-12 win vs. Hickory Grove Christian.

Hayezon Tobe, Asheville School: Tobe had two receptions for 73 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown.

Nathan McMahon, Asheville School: McMahon had 10 tackles, including three for loss with one sack.

Ricky Tolbert, Asheville School: Tolbert completed 10 of 16 passes for 211 yards with two TDs and rushed 11 times for 102 yards with two TDs.

Logan Wayne Brown and Carlos Garcia, Avery County: Brown and Garcia had 14 tackles each in the Vikings’ 48-28 loss to Mitchell.

Oak Markland, Avery County: He had two receptions for 72 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown.

Benjamin Kessinger, Brevard: Kessinger completed 11 of 16 passes for 139 yards with four touchdowns in a 49-21 win vs. Polk County.

Dillon Galloway, Brevard: Galloway caught three passes for 54 yards, all for touchdowns. He also returned a blocked punt for a 15-yard touchdown.

Caden Ingle, Erwin: Erwin completed 21-of-28 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-15 win over North Buncombe.

Taylor McClure, Hayesville: McClure recorded eight tackles, including four for a loss, in a 14-6 win vs. Andrews.

Tre Graves, Hayesville: Graves returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown and rushed for 61 yards on 17 carries.

JaRon Ward, Hendersonville: Ward threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns on 16-for-24 passing in Hendersonville's 56-13 victory over Patton.

CJ Landrum, Hendersonville: Landrum caught seven passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

Caleb Cook, Mitchell: Cook was 8-for-9 passing for 104 yards with two touchdowns in the Mountaineers’ 48-28 victory against Avery County. Cook also rushed seven times for 22 yards with another touchdown.

Chase Duncan, Mitchell: Duncan rushed 11 times for 174 yards, including a touchdown.

Brandon Quinn, Mountain Heritage: Quinn recorded 19 carries for 286 yards and four touchdowns and was 1-for-2 passing with 24 yards and a touchdown. Mountain Heritage beat Draughn 52-15 to win the Western Highlands Conference.

Lane Chandler, Mountain Heritage: Chandler ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.

Hunter Stalcup, Murphy: Stalcup recorded 214 rushing yards on 17 carries, scoring two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 35-12 win over Cherokee.

Cameron Clem, Murphy: Clem carried the ball 12 times for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Will Johnson, Owen: Johnson rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the Warhorses' 35-21 victory over Madison.

Hayden Craig, Reynolds: Craig threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns, completing all seven of his passing attempts in a 58-14 win over McDowell.

Wesley Rumbough, Reynolds: Rumbough caught three passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Cuttler Adams, Robbinsville: Adams returned an interception 100 yards for the go-ahead score in the Knights’ 14-8 victory against Swain County. Adams also rushed 25 times for 117 yards, including a 6-yard TD, and was 2-for-2 passing for 40 yards.

Lex Dinwiddie, Roberson: Dinwiddie completed 7-of-12 pass attempts for 142 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 84 yards on six carries in the Rams' 49-3 win over Franklin.

Reno Jeter, Roberson: Jeter scored three touchdowns against Franklin, rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns and catching two passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Tyrin Credle, Roberson: The junior rushed for 120 yards on eight carries.

Josiah Glaspie, Swain County: Glaspie intercepted a pass and returned it 93 yards for a touchdown.

Isaiah McNeely, Smoky Mountain: McNeely scored five touchdowns, rushing the ball 18 times for 170 yards in Smoky Mountain's 57-30 victory over East Henderson.

Ayden Johnson, Smoky Mountain: Johnson rushed for 202 yards on 14 carries, scoring one touchdown.

Carson Dimsdale, West Henderson: Dimsdale rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries as West Henderson beat Tuscola 42-14 to finish the regular season undefeated.

Truitt Manuel, West Henderson: Manuel caught nine passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns, including a long of 58 yards.
