Merritt Island 3, Satellite 1

Merritt Island (20-6) defeated Satellite, 3-1, in the District 8-5A championship to extend its district championship winning streak to 19.
The Mustangs were led by Bella Schwantz, who finished with 19 kills and 17 digs. Maddie Johnson added 14 kills and 15 digs and Shamiah Richardson had 21 digs and two aces.
Merritt Island also secured a spot in the FHSAA playoffs once again after advancing to the region final last season.
For Satellite (17-9), Ava Bray had 13 kills, 2 aces, and 12 digs and Lola Hufnagel finished with 15 assists, 4 kills, 1 ace and 16 digs.

In District 8-6A, Viera (23-4) claimed the district championship after a 3-0 win over Martin County (16-12).
Izzy Starcks had 12 kills, six aces, 16 assists and 17 digs, Mallory Merz added 17 assists and 5 digs and Haley Beigh finished with 13 kills, three digs, one block, and one assist.
With this win, Viera will have the chance to go on another playoff run like it did in 2022 when the Hawks finished as the Class 6A state runner-up.

Holy Trinity 3, Edgewood 0

Holy Trinity (15-12) repeated as district champion after defeating Edgewood (10-12) in straight sets in the District 6-3A championship.
The Tigers went through the regular season and the district tournament without dropping a set to district opponents this season.
District 7-4A
Astronaut 3, Titusville 0
25-21, 25-17, 25-10
Astronaut (14-7) secured the District 7-4A title for the second year in a row with a 3-0 win over Titusville (11-9).
The War Eagles finish the regular season with just seven losses. They also clinched a spot in the FHSAA playoffs.
District 8-2A
St. Edward's 3, Brevard HEAT 1
25-20, 25-19, 12-25, 25-16
Brevard HEAT fell to St. Edward's (14-6), 3-1, in the District 8-2A championship. Brevard HEAT closed out the regular season with a record of 17-7.
