Braylen Russell commits to the Razorbacks
Sam Pittman’s phone rang at 6:48 p.m. on Friday night.
That was a good thing, because he would’ve been upset if Shane Beamer or Josh Heupel would’ve gotten that call.
At that moment, Benton’s Braylen Russell thanked him for his scholarship offer and accepted it, setting off a chorus of cheers and a Hog call in Saline County.

The 4-star running back will be the 15th member of Arkansas’ 2024 recruiting class.
He decommitted from the Razorbacks last October, but ultimately decided to put a Hog on his helmet when it was all said and done.
