BRACKET BREAKDOWN: MIAA announces boys and girls high school hockey tournament field

The road to TD Garden starts now.

The MIAA announced the high school hockey tournament pairings on Saturday.

Cape Cod will be represented by seven boys hockey teams and six girls hockey teams. The Nauset boys are the highest-ranked team, coming in at No. 1 in Division 3. The Sandwich boys will look to make their third straight state title appearance.

Div. 4 boys has the most local flare. Nantucket, Sandwich, and Martha's Vineyard are all ranked inside the top 10.

There are five girls teams in Div. 2. The Falmouth girls enter the tournament as a No. 2 seed, while Nauset/Monomoy has the No. 4 seed in Div. 2.
