Boys lacrosse: Who are you picking for lohud Player of the Week?

We're again hitting the pause button each Monday to spotlight the headliners from the previous week. The finalists might have a string of quality games or they might have come up big in a contest against a quality opponent. Nominations are made each week by the coaches. The poll will remain open until 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Daniel Picart (Pleasantville), Emmet McDermott (Pleasantville), Ricky Strobel (White Plains), Kevin Devine (North Rockland), Dean Hiltsley (Hen Hud) and Aidan Mazzoni (Hen Hud) are the previous winners.

Luke Arrighi, Bronxville

The junior goalie made 20 saves to keep the game a 6-5 overtime loss to John Jay interesting and collected nine saves in a 13-4 win over Westlake.

Sean Berrigan, Tappan Zee

The senior attackman finished with three goals and two assists in an overtime loss to North Rockland and wound up with six goals and four assists in a win over Lourdes.

Reid Finster, Pelham

The sophomore midfielder had three goals and one assist in an upset win over Pleasantville and scored both of the Pelicans' goals in a loss to Rye.

Andrew Girolamo, Stepinac

The senior attackman had three goals and one assist in a win over St. Joseph's Regional and delivered two goals and five assists in a Senior Day win over Greenwich Country Day.

Fin McConnell, Kennedy Catholic

The junior attackman had four goals and three assists in a win over Xaverian, helping the Gaels finish undefeated in league play. He added four goals and one assist in a loss to Fordham Prep and three goals and one assist in a loss to Greeley.

Landon Pepe, Somers

The junior goalie opened the week with 13 saves in a 10-5 win over Greenwich and helped the Tuskers added momentum by making seven saves in a 12-7 win over Fox Lane.

Dylan Reese, Iona Prep

The junior attackman had three goals and one assist in a 10-8 loss to New Jersey power Delbarton. He also had two goals and an assist in a win over Cheshire, Conn.

Brady Rogoff, Mamaroneck

The junior long stick midfielder and close defender was a disruptor in the biggest game of the season, getting five ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 13-10 win over Scarsdale.

Carter Schmidt, Croton

The junior attackman scored three times in a win over Harrison, netting his 100th career goal in overtime. He also had a goal in a loss to Hen Hud and three goals and one assist in a loss to Brewster.

Ronan West, Rye Neck

The senior long stick midfielder had a goal and three assists in a win over Eastchester, one assist in a win over Blind Brook and two goals and two assists in a win over Ardsley. He also went 37 for 48 on faceoffs, picked up 34 ground balls and forced 10 turnovers.
