Boys basketball roundup: Port Huron Northern extends winning streak to 10 games

Here are some notable results from Friday's boys high school basketball games in the Blue Water Area.

Port Huron Northern 66, Utica Eisenhower 52

Cam Harju poured in 24 points for Port Huron Northern (13-2, 8-1 MAC White).

Amir Morelan added 13 points and six rebounds while Malik Thompson and Narrel Jordan each had nine points.

The Huskies, who've won 10 straight, visit Romeo at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Almont 56, Armada 35

Jerry Schurig scored 15 points to lead Almont (10-3, 5-1 BWAC). Chase Davedowski and Cam Bourdeau both followed with eight points.

The Raiders host Imlay City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lucas Pratt had 15 points for Armada (2-9, 1-6 BWAC). Zefi Gjelaj chipped in eight points.

The Tigers travel to Peck at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Cardinal Mooney 48, Clarkston Everest 36

Brian Everhart amassed 27 points, eight rebounds and three steals for Cardinal Mooney (9-5, 5-1 Catholic League). Ty Boedeker added seven points, seven rebounds and four steals.

The Cardinals welcome Croswell-Lexington at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Croswell-Lexington 35, North Branch 23

Gavin Espinoza scored 13 points for Cros-Lex (8-5, 5-2 BWAC). Cam Saunders contributed 10 points.

Marysville 53, St. Clair 46

Cole Horan dropped 22 points to lead Marysville (6-8, 3-4 MAC Silver). Mekhi Radford-Donawa followed with 18 points.

The Vikings entertain Marine City at 7 p.m. on Monday.

Braylon Frantz scored a game-high 24 points for St. Clair (12-4, 7-2 MAC Silver).

The Saints host Marine City at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Port Huron 59, Madison Heights Madison 35

Jaedyn Carswell totaled 16 points and six rebounds for Port Huron (10-6, 7-2 MAC Silver). Jovan Foy and Tristan Woodson each had 10 points.

The Red Hawks head to St. Clair Shores Lakeview at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Peck 63, Carsonville-Port Sanilac 40

Thomas West scored a game-high 22 points for Peck (7-5, 2-2 NCTL Stars). Cal Heiden and Carsten Lieblang both added 14 points.

The Pirates welcome Dryden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Yale 57, Richmond 43

Ryan Monarch finished with 23 points for Yale (11-2, 5-1 BWAC). Jackson Kohler contributed 18 points.

The Bulldogs entertain Flint Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Richmond dropped to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the BWAC. The Blue Devils travel to Mount Clemens at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
