Boston’s Derrick White ‘taking All-Star snub personal’, puts on 4th-quarter show

While you might not guess it by their record, the Atlanta Hawks have been playing pretty well as of late. And the Boston Celtics found out for themselves what a tough out they can be in their 125-117 home win over the Hawks on Wednesday night.

The Celtics (and all players) were led in scoring by Kristaps Porzingis (31 points), and Derrick White (21 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists), Jayson Tatum (20 points, 9 boards, 7 assists), Jaylen Brown (15 points, 6 rebounds, as many assists), and Al Horford (14 points, 8 rebounds, as many assists) all had good games for Boston.

Sam Hauser also had 10 points and 5 rebounds off the bench for the Celtics.

NBC Sports Boston’s caught up with Derrick White postgame to talk about his key fourth-quarter explosion and how it relates to his All-Star snub. Check it out above!
