The Boston Celtics start their regular-season schedule against the Philadelphia 76ers, and both clubs are seen by many as likely to be at the top of the league’s Eastern Conference alongside the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks.

Both teams made some very complimentary moves to an already solid roster in the hopes of improving their chances to win the 2023 NBA Championship, but only one of the two Atlantic Division rivals is going to have a chance to represent the East in the Finals this year. Which of the Celtics and the 76ers is better positioned to be a true contender?
