Both fans and analysts of the club have been especially hard on the Celtics when they have shown some of the bad habits that led to the Golden State Warriors beating Boston in six games in the 2022 NBA Finals.

But if you look at the standings, the Celtics are one of the league’s best teams. They have been at the top of the standings for virtually the entire season under interim head coach Joe Mazzulla.
