The Boston Celtics are already playing Al Horford too many minutes

The plan, as far as we know it to be, was for veteran Boston Celtics big man Al Horford to rest as much as humanly possible during the 2022-23 regular season to keep the Florida alum as fresh as possible for the 2023 NBA playoffs.

But injuries to key frontcourt players like Robert Williams III and Danilo Gallinari have made such a plan hard to execute in practice, with Horford playing as much as 40+ minutes on some of the Celtics’ recent games. Is Boston going to squander his ability to help the team at his best due to these injuries to their big men?

This pressing concern for the Celtics was recently a topic of conversation discussed on the CLNS Media “Vitamin Cs” podcast by hosts Tim Shiels and Adam Taylor.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they think the Celtics ought to be doing regarding the spot they are in with Horford.
